Ramdas Athawale is the Indian politician was born on 19 December 1959 in Agalgaon, Sangli district, in Bombay. His parents were Shri Bandhu Bapu Athawale (Father) and Smt. Honsabai Bandhu Athawale (Mother). He is the Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment in the Narendra Modi government. He represents Maharashtra in the Rajya Sabha and member of the Dalit community. Also the president of the Republican Party of India. Ramdas Athawale did his graduation from  Siddharth College of Law, Mumbai. He married to Seema Athawale and has a son. Apart from these, he is a great artist, Social worker, Publisher, and Religious Missionary by profession.
